About Grønn Glede
What is Grønn Glede?
Grønn Glede is a garden centre and florist in Eiksmarka, Bærum. We sell quality plants, flowers, pots and garden supplies, and offer garden services and home delivery across Bærum and western Oslo.
Where is the shop located?
The shop is at Basaltveien 14, 1359 Eiksmarka in Bærum, with free parking right outside. We are open every day 09:00–18:00.
What do you sell?
We stock outdoor plants, houseplants, cut flowers and bouquets, pots and soil, and garden supplies. We also offer garden services and made-to-order flowers.
Ordering and delivery
Do you deliver to my home?
Yes. We deliver with our own vans across Bærum and western Oslo. If you live outside the delivery area, you can pick your order up in store.
How quickly can I get delivery?
Order before 14:00 and we usually deliver the same day within the delivery area. Orders placed after 14:00 are delivered the next business day.
How much does home delivery cost?
Home delivery across Bærum and western Oslo costs 149 kr. In-store pickup is free.
Can I pick up my order myself?
Yes. Choose “in-store pickup” at checkout and your order is usually ready within about 2 hours during opening hours. Pickup is free.
Payment
Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay with Vipps, Visa, Mastercard and Klarna. Payment is handled securely by our payment provider.
Is it safe to pay online?
Yes. All payments are processed by a certified payment provider, and we never store your card number.
Plants and care
How often should I water my plants?
Most plants should be watered when the top layer of soil has dried out — push a finger into the soil to check. Houseplants usually need water 1–2 times a week, and a little less in winter. Every plant has its own care guide on its product page.
Which plants are good for beginners?
Hardy, low-maintenance plants are a good choice for beginners. Use our Plant Finder to match plants to your light and care level, or ask us in store.
What do the light, water and care symbols mean?
Each product page shows the plant's need for light (high, medium or low), water and care level (easy, medium or demanding), plus whether the plant is pet-safe. That makes it quick to find a plant that suits your home.
Can I get advice on which plants to choose?
Yes. Try the online Plant Finder for a quick recommendation, or visit the shop in Eiksmarka — we're happy to help you choose the right plants for your room and light.
