CARGOMAN AS is the seller and your contracting party for purchases in the webshop, and is referred to as "we" and "us" in these terms. You can reach us at post@gronngledefossum.no or +47 998 77 400.
General
These terms apply to purchases from Grønn Glede, which is operated by CARGOMAN AS, Basaltveien 14, 1359 Eiksmarka, Norway. By shopping with us you accept these terms.
Orders and prices
All prices are in Norwegian kroner including VAT. You receive a confirmation by email once your order is registered.
Payment
We offer payment by Vipps, Visa and Mastercard. Card payments are handled by our payment provider Stripe, and we never store your card number. The amount is charged when you place your order.
Delivery
Flowers and plants are delivered locally in Bærum and Oslo West — order before 14:00 for same or next working day delivery. You can also collect free of charge at Basaltveien 14. We do not ship outside the delivery area. If you choose “Leave at the door”, we place the order in a dry, sheltered spot and let you know once it has been delivered. It then stands outside until you bring it in, and we cannot take responsibility for plants withstanding cold, sun or rain in the meantime, or for anything going missing after delivery. If you want to be certain, choose “Hand it over in person”.
Right of withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on online purchases under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. The period runs from the day you receive the goods. To use it, tell us within the deadline — by email to post@gronngledefossum.no, or using the standard withdrawal form, which you will find on our Withdrawal form page, already filled in with our details. Return the goods within 14 days of notifying us; you cover the return cost. We refund what you paid within 14 days of receiving the goods, or of you documenting that they were sent. If you send the order as a gift, the right of withdrawal is yours as the buyer — you are the party who entered into the agreement with us. Get in touch and we will find a practical solution together.
Open the withdrawal formExceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly, per section 22 of the Act. For us that means cut flowers, bouquets and other perishables — these cannot be returned. The same applies to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as commissioned floral work. Potted plants, pots, soil, tools and accessories are not exempt: you have the full right of withdrawal on those, provided the item can be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity. A card with your own greeting written on it is made to your specifications, and is therefore also exempt from the right of withdrawal.
Complaints about defects
The right of withdrawal and a complaint about a defect are two different rights. If you find a fault or defect, you may complain under the Consumer Purchases Act — within a reasonable time after discovering it, and at the latest two years after purchase, or five years for goods intended to last considerably longer. For living plants a defect is assessed from the condition on delivery and the care given afterwards. Get in touch and we will find a solution.
